Who’s this art director that is waaaaaaaay too obsessed with butterflies?

I heard she’s worked as a line cook, baseball scout, and tarot/rune reader

Well, I’ve heard she’s lived all over the United States. Like California, Oregon, Alabama, and Illinois.

I’ve heard that she’s double-jointed in all her joints and can crack almost all of them.

Someone told me that she’s chronically on YouTube and is up to date on the latest “Youtube Tea.”

I’ve heard from a friend that her blood consists mostly of caffeine.

I’ve heard from a high school friend that she’s got some crazy ideas bouncing around in her head.

Aright. Alright. Instead of listening to what other people say about me, why don’t you consult my tarot cards to get a better sense of who I am?

The High Priestess is all about wisdom and following your natural instinct. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a very quiet and instinctual person always following my gut. From my home in the Bay Area in California to college in Oregon, and to graduate school in Alabama, these experiences has shown me there is more to learn than what’s just in books.

The Page of Pentacles is known to be very studious, hard-working, and diligent. After all my years of schooling, I have determined that I won’t ever stop learning. There is always more to learn. I find joy in learning about the world, other, people, and myself. The Page of Pentacles is always known to have her nose in a book (my Goodreads as proof).

As one of the most loving and supportive cards of the tarot, temperance is all about balance and harmony. Focusing on what you can control and trying not to worry about what you cannot control. Like any Virgo, I’m very much a logical mind-over-matter person. Calm and collected in any situation. Always showing patience and perseverance. Because all good things take time.

The Queen of Cups, while slightly mysterious, is understood to be very compassionate, generous, and kind. This is a card about expressing creativity in its many forms. My eyes are always open to inspiration and trying to look below the surface. My work speaks in different voices to different audiences. Advertising is sometimes understood as a reflection of society. And at the end of the day, we are all people first.

The Fool starts the tarot off on the right foot with its endless possibilities, new adventures, and fresh perspectives. I am ready for anything life throws at me and I am always willing to try something once with a positive attitude. I’m open to lessons and critiques, but at the end of the day, I know who I am.
